new yizzy part one

2 weeks ago I was in NY for a week. Not just for work but a wedding and my birthday too!

During this week so much went on...went to Brooklyn for the first time, stayed in Williamsburg.

The adorable pup is Stella! She belongs to my friend who we stayed with in Williamsburg. For those of you who don't know me..I lovelovelove dogs!!

The Beautiful roof deck of the apartment, that I unfortunately had to sit on for 4 hours one night because I stupidly took the wrong keys for the apartment. AKA we were locked out till 2am...NOT FUN. And yes I know I was in NY I should have just gone out, but when your so tired after a rehearsal dinner party and being out all day the last thing I wanted to do was venture into the city!

LOS ANGELES!

I have a friend here in Los Angeles who is visiting from Kauai. (Yes she lives in Hawaii, SO LUCKY!) I decided to show her LA a bit before I have to leave for work. We went to of course the HOLLYWOOD sign, Griffith Observatory, and Griffith park where the old LA Zoo use to be!
Here's a few pictures from the day so far!

V AUSTRALIA

Virgin Airlines has relaunched the V AUSTRALIA campaign I did, this billboard is on Sunset Blvd. at the KEY CLUB. So exciting to see it up again, had to stop and take a picture! While doing so, the valet guys asked why I was taking pictures and when I said it was me they freaked out it was awesome! One of them asked to get a picture with me so funny!

Sunset Junction

Yesterday my friend Gio and I went to the Sunset Junction street fair music festival. We were both so excited for Edward Sharpe, but it was complete madness to get anywhere near the stage. All we could see were heads and hands but the music was still amazing!! They had every type of horrible fair food you could imagine and rides too. There were 2 different fun houses...we made the VERY wrong decision to go in the first one. there was no light whatsoever and there were metal bars you would run into. basically it was a black maze that if you don't have a flash light on your phone you will never get out of. All in all we had a great time, lots of walking and having to just enjoy the hot sun.

Day 3 Table banging

So yesterday (thursday) was a LONG day, had 6 meetings throughout. AND it was the Playoff game, now I'm going to be honest I don't LOVE sports which means I have not seen one game this whole season. But the Final game is always exciting and duh who doesn't wan't to be part of the fun? Around 8:40 Eamon and his friend Nate ( not the previous Nate that I know from LA) came to get me to go watch the game at a bar restaurant called Brinkleys on Broome and Centre. It was so fun, the place was packed, we were like sardines. I was lucky enough to have gotten there early, we had the best seats (yes we got chairs! haha) in the place right in front of the huge projector. My friend Becky came to watch the second half after she got off work and she got there at the perfect time, people were really starting to get into it. Anyways we all know how this ends..the LAKERS won! woooo The mix of people in the place was so amazing though so many boston fans! HA
And seeing as how I didn't go out any nights on this trip I decided that it was necessary! We went to some a weird little club underneath Brinkleys...NO GOOD. After about 20 minutes of torture we walked over to Kenmare, I didn't what it was but once we went downstairs and we saw people we knew it turned out to be SO fun!! As I was leaving I saw a bunch of people I know from LA outside just going in which I was bummed about but I knew I wouldn't wake up this morning if I stayed any later. All in All it was such a good night, and it was so nice to hang with Becky...one of the VERY FEW cool, nice, and drama free LA girls.
